Problem B. 3883. (February 2006)

Megoldás: Szorzattá alakítva

a^{100}-b^{100}=(a-b)(a^{99}+a^{98}b+a^{97}b^2+\ldots+ ab^{98}+b^{99}).

Mivel a-b osztható 100-zal, elég azt igazolni, hogy a második tényező is osztható 100-zal. Mivel pedig a és b 100-zal osztva ugyanolyan maradékot adnak, ennek a 100 tagból álló összegnek minden tagja ugyanolyan maradékot ad 100-zal osztva, vagyis maga az összeg tényleg osztható 100-zal.
