B. 4096. The points of tangency of the inscribed circle on the sides of a triangle ABC are E, F and G. The distances of an arbitrary point P of the inscribed circle from the sides are a, b and c, and its distances from the lines FG, EG and EF are e, f and g. Prove that abc=efg.

Megoldás: Ha P egybeesik az E,F,G pontok valamelyikével, akkor mindkét szorzat 0, egyébként pedig az általánosság megszorítása nélkül feltehető, hogy E a BC, F az AC, G pedig az AB oldalon helyezkedik el, valamint hogy a P pont az ábra szerint az FG ívre esik. Ekkor egyrészt a=EP.sin PEC\angle, b=FP.sin PFA\angle és

c=GP.sin PGB\angle=GP.sin PGA\angle,

másrészről e=FP.sin PFG\angle, f=GP.sin PGE\angle és g=EP.sin PEF\angle. Mivel a kerületi szögek tétele szerint PFG\angle=PGA\angle, PGE\angle=PEC\angle és PEF\angle=PFA\angle, a bizonyítandó állítást közvetlen beszorzással ellenőrizhetjük.
