The amount of ink to print a digit 2 is 2/3 of the amount to print a 0 or 8, while printing a digit 7 requires half the amount of ink to print a 2. How many 7's could have been printed using the original amount of ink in the printed?

Megoldás: A nyomtatásnál a 20072008 nyolc számjegyből álló rész ismétlődik. Mivel 2008 osztható 8-cal, ezért a nyomtató az említett 8 számjegyet 250-szer nyomtatta ki, továbbá a 2007200-et, és utána fogyott ki a tinta. Mivel a 2 megfelel 2 db 7-es, a 0 és a 8 megfelel 3 db 7-es számjegy kinyomtatásának, ezért egy ilyen ,,20072008" egység megfelel 20 db 7-es számjegy nyomtatásának a tintafogyás szempontjából. Tehát a felhasznált tintamennyiséggel 20^.250+17=5017 db 7-es számjegyet lehetett volna kinyomtatni.
