B. 4264. Triangle ABC has a 120o angle at vertex C. The orthocentre of the triangle is M, the centre of the circumscribed circle is O, and the midpoint of arc ACB of the circle is F. Prove that MF=FO.

Megoldás. A kerületi és középponti szögek tétele szerint az \(\displaystyle AOB\) szög nagysága is \(\displaystyle 120^{\circ}\), az \(\displaystyle AOBF\) deltoid tehát egy olyan rombusz, amelyben \(\displaystyle FA=FB=FO\). Ha az \(\displaystyle A\)-ból, illetve \(\displaystyle B\)-ből induló magasságvonalak talppontját \(\displaystyle M_a\) és \(\displaystyle M_b\) jelöli, akkor az \(\displaystyle MM_aCM_b\) négyszög húrnégyszög, vagyis

\(\displaystyle AMB\sphericalangle=M_aMM_b\sphericalangle=180^\circ-M_aCM_b\sphericalangle =180^\circ-ACB\sphericalangle=180^\circ-AOB\sphericalangle.\)

Ezért az \(\displaystyle AOBM\) négyszög is húrnégyszög, melynek körülírt körének középpontja éppen az \(\displaystyle F\) pont, így valóban \(\displaystyle MF=FO\).
