B. 4897. Given \(\displaystyle n\) points in the plane, show that it is possible to select three, denoted by \(\displaystyle A\), \(\displaystyle B\) and \(\displaystyle C\), such that \(\displaystyle \angle ABC\le 180^\circ /n\).

Megoldás. Feltehető, hogy a pontok közül semelyik három nem kollineáris, különben lenne \(\displaystyle 0^\circ\)-os szög is. Legyen a pontok konvex burkának három egymást követő csúcsa (ebben a sorrendben) \(\displaystyle A\), \(\displaystyle B\) és \(\displaystyle C\). Ha \(\displaystyle ABC\angle\geq 180^\circ-2\cdot 180^\circ /n\), akkor \(\displaystyle ACB\angle\) vagy \(\displaystyle CAB\angle\) megfelelő, különben az \(\displaystyle ABC\) háromszög belső szögeinek összege \(\displaystyle 180^\circ\)-nál nagyobb lenne. Egyébként \(\displaystyle B\)-t a maradék \(\displaystyle n-3\) ponttal összekötve az \(\displaystyle ABC\) szöget \(\displaystyle n-2\) részre bontjuk. Ezek közül a legkisebb legfeljebb \(\displaystyle (180^\circ-2\cdot 180^\circ /n)/(n-2)=180^\circ /n\).
