Megoldás. Legyen \(\displaystyle p<q\). Mivel ikerprímek, így \(\displaystyle q=p+2\). Egyetlen páros prímszám van, tehát csak az lehetséges, hogy \(\displaystyle p\) és \(\displaystyle q\) is páratlan.
\(\displaystyle p>3\) és prímszám, ezért nem osztható hárommal. Lehetne \(\displaystyle p=3k-2\) alakú, ahol \(\displaystyle k>2\) egész, de ekkor \(\displaystyle q=p+2=3k\) lenne, ami hárommal osztható, így nem lehet prím.
Ezért \(\displaystyle p=3k-1\) alakú szám, és \(\displaystyle q=p+2=3k+1\) alakú. Mindkettő páratlan szám, így \(\displaystyle 3k\) páros, tehát \(\displaystyle k\) is páros szám.
