Megoldás. Az egyik tükörben a kezünket is és a másik tükröt is látjuk. A tükör tükrözi a tükörképet is, emiatt keletkezhet nagyon sok (látszólagos) kép. A kezünk tükörképei méterenként követik egymást, de közülük csak minden másodiknál látjuk a tenyerünket, azok távolsága tehát 2 méter. Az eredmény nem függ attól, hogy kezünk a két tükör közepén van, vagy valahol máshol.
