Megoldás. A forralás során az edény felett vízgőz található, ez színtelen. Amikor elzárjuk a gázt, az edény mellett hidegebb levegő áramlik felfelé, ez lehűti a vízgőzt, és annak egy része apró vízcseppek formájában kicsapódik. A vízcseppek szórják a fényt, így a ,,gőzfelhő'' láthatóvá válik.
