Megoldás.A Nap közelít a látóhatárhoz, de nem süllyed az alá. Ilyen helyzet a sarkkörön túl fordulhat elő. A Nap a legalacsonyabb állásánál felvételsorozaton balról jobbra mozog, tehát ez a keleti irány. A kamerát észak felé irányították, és a felvétel az északi féltekén készülhetett, a nyári napforduló környékén. A Nap legalacsonyabb állásához tartozó felvétel éjfél körül készült.
