K. 135. Two decks of 32 German cards in each are shuffled separately, and one deck is placed on the top of the other. Then for each card in the upper deck its counterpart is found in the lower deck. The cards lying between the two cards are counted and the numbers obtained in this way are added. What will be the result?

Megoldás: Először nézzük meg, hogy hogyan alakul a felső pakliban a megszámolt kártyák száma. Minden lap kiválasztásakor azt számoljuk meg, hogy a felső pakliban alatta hány kártyalap helyezkedik el, tehát ezen számok összege 31+30+29+\ldots+1=\frac{32\cdot31}{2}=496. Az alsó pakliban pedig azt számoljuk meg minden kártya esetén, hogy felette a pakliban hány kártyalap helyezkedik el, ezek száma is összesen 496. Tehát a kapott számok összege az összesen megszámolt kártyalapok száma, azaz 992.
