Megoldás. Ha a 10 pozitív egész szám szorzata három 0-ra végződik, akkor osztható 1000-rel. Mivel \(\displaystyle 1000=2^3\cdot5^3\), ezért a szorzat prímtényezős felbontásában szerepel legalább 3 db 5-ös, és legalább 3 db 2-es. Ezen prímtényezők mindegyikére igaz, hogy valamelyik szám prímtényezős felbontásából származnak, tehát ha csak azokat a számokat vesszük, amelyek ezeket tartalmazzák prímtényezőként, akkor azok szorzata is osztható 1000-rel. Ez a hat prímtényező legfeljebb hat különböző számból származhat, így ezen számok, szükség esetén a maradék számok közül néhánnyal hat darabra kiegészítve őket, megfelelők a feladat szempontjából.
