Megoldás. Legyen az édesanya életkora a fia születésekor \(\displaystyle \overline{ab}\), ahol az \(\displaystyle a,b\) számjegyekre a feltételeknek megfelelően teljesül, hogy

János bácsi most \(\displaystyle 56\) éves, az ő születése óta az édesanyja ugyanennyi évvel lett idősebb, tehát felírhatjuk, hogy

Az (1) egyenletből kapjuk, hogy
