Megoldásvázlat. Ha a kocsi és a serpenyő tömege elhanyagolható a sörét tömege mellett, akkor a sörét tömegét elfelezve lesz legnagyobb a fonálerő. Ha a kocsi és a serpenyő tömege is számottevő, akkor úgy kell elosztani a sörétet, hogy a kocsi és a benne levő sörét tömege ugyanannyi legyen, mint a serpenyő és a benne levő sörét össztömege.
