B. 4306. Solve the equation 16x2+y+16y2+x=1.

Megoldás.

\(\displaystyle 16^{x^2+y}\cdot 16^{y^2+x}=16^{x^2+y^2+x+y}\ge 16^{-\frac{1}{2}}= \frac{1}{4},\)

hiszen

\(\displaystyle x^2+y^2+x+y+\frac{1}{2}=\Bigl(x+\frac{1}{2}\Bigr)^2+ \Bigl(y+\frac{1}{2}\Bigr)^2\ge 0.\)

Egyenlőség pontosan akkor teljesül, ha \(\displaystyle x=y=-\frac{1}{2}\). Felhasználva a számtani és mértani közepek között fennálló egyenlőtlenséget,

\(\displaystyle 16^{x^2+y} + 16^{y^2+x}\ge 2\sqrt{16^{x^2+y}\cdot 16^{y^2+x}}\ge 1,\)

és a leírtak alapján világos, hogy egyenlőség csak az \(\displaystyle x=y=-\frac{1}{2}\) esetben állhat fenn. Mivel akkor valóban fennáll, az egyenlet egyetlen megoldása \(\displaystyle x=y=-\frac{1}{2}\).
