Problem B. 4311. (November 2010)

B. 4311. P is a given point in the interior of the acute-angled triangle ABC. The lines AP, BP and CP intersect the opposite sides at the points A1, B1 and C1, respectively. Given that PA1=PB1=PC1=3 and AP+BP+CP=43, prove that AP.BP.CP=441.

Megoldás. Legyen \(\displaystyle AP=x\), \(\displaystyle BP=y\), \(\displaystyle CP=z\), az \(\displaystyle ABC\) háromszög területe pedig \(\displaystyle t\). Ekkor az \(\displaystyle ABP\), \(\displaystyle BCP\), \(\displaystyle CAP\) háromszögek területe rendre

\(\displaystyle \frac{PC_1}{CC_1}\cdot t=\frac{3t}{3+z}, \quad \frac{PA_1}{AA_1}\cdot t=\frac{3t}{3+x}, \quad \frac{PB_1}{BB_1}\cdot t=\frac{3t}{3+y}.\)

Mivel a három háromszög az eredeti háromszög egy felbontását képezi,

\(\displaystyle \frac{3t}{3+x}+\frac{3t}{3+y}+\frac{3t}{3+z}=t,\)

vagyis

\(\displaystyle 3(x+3)(y+3)+3(x+3)(z+3)+3(y+3)(z+3)=(x+3)(y+3)(z+3).\)

Kifejtés és rendezés után ebből az \(\displaystyle xyz=9(x+y+z)+54\) egyenlőségre jutunk, vagyis valóban

\(\displaystyle AP \cdot BP \cdot CP =9(AP + BP + CP)+54=9\cdot 43+54=441.\)
