When the first problem had been assessed, they were told that 3 students achieved 10 points and the others achieved 7. Everyone was instructed to guess who had the 10 points. The guesses were as follows: A, B, D; A, C, E; A, D, E; B, C, E; B, D, E; C, D, E. Three of them each guessed two right, two of them each guessed one right, and one had no right guess. It turned out that no one guessed all three right. Which students got 10 points?

Megoldás. Készítsünk táblázatot, melyben egy-egy sorban szerepelnek a versenyzők tippjei.

Az egyik versenyző nem találta el egyik tízpontost sem, ami azt jelenti, hogy valamelyik sorban egy tipp sem jó.Abban a sorban a másik három tipp adná a tízpontosokat. Ez alapján soronként a lehetséges tízpontosok: \(\displaystyle CEF\), \(\displaystyle BDF\), \(\displaystyle BCF\), \(\displaystyle ADF\), \(\displaystyle ACF\) vagy \(\displaystyle ABF\).

Ekkor a jó tippek száma rendre: 021212; 201121; 110211; 212011; 121101; 211110.

Látható, hogy ebből csak az első megfelelő, mert abban van 3 db 2-es, 2 db 1-es és 1 db 0. Vagyis a helyes tipp CEF lett volna, 10 pontot Cecília, Elemér és Franciska kapott.
