Megoldás. A közepes méretű négyzetek oldalának hossza 10 cm. A legnagyobb négyzetet feldarabolhatjuk 16 kis négyzetre:

Innen látható, hogy a kis négyzetek oldalának hossza 6 cm (mert 5 ilyen együttes hossza \(\displaystyle 3\cdot10=30\) cm), tehát a téglalap területe \(\displaystyle 20\cdot36+3\cdot100=1020~\rm{cm}^2\).
