K. 769. In Burger Burner Restaurant, it turned out that the soup is too salty. The chef decided to dilute it with the leftover soup from yesterday, which did not have enough salt in it. Given that 5 percent of the salty soup is salt while there is only 1.2 percent salt in the leftover soup, how much of each should the chef mix in order to obtain 72 decilitres of soup with a salt content of 3.48 percent?

Megoldás. Legyen a összekeveréshez felhasznált sós leves térfogata \(\displaystyle x\) deciliter, ekkor a sótlanból \(\displaystyle 72-x\) deciliter kell. A sós leves \(\displaystyle 5\%\)-a só, azaz (deciliterben) \(\displaystyle x \cdot 0,\!05\), a sótlan leves térfogatának \(\displaystyle 1,\!2\%\)-a só, azaz \(\displaystyle (72-x) \cdot 0,\!012\). A keverék leves \(\displaystyle 3,\!48\%\)-a só, azaz \(\displaystyle 72 \cdot 0,\!0348=2,\!5056\). A sótartalom az összekeverés során összeadódik, így felírhatjuk a következő egyenletet:

\(\displaystyle x \cdot 0,\!05 + (72-x) \cdot 0,\!012= 2,\!5056.\)

A műveleteket elvégezve és rendezve \(\displaystyle 0,\!038x=1,\!6416\), amiből \(\displaystyle x=43,\!2\), tehát \(\displaystyle 43,\!2 ~ \text{dl}=4,\!32\) liter sós, valamint \(\displaystyle 72-43,\!2=28,\!8 ~ \text{dl}=2,\!88\) liter sótlan levest kell összekeverni.
